Professional Headshots for Darth Vader. An experience out of this galaxy.

I can’t believe that Darth Vader traveled all the way to Sheboygan, WI for professional headshots. I recently had the honor of working with one of the most iconic figures in pop culture history - Darth Vader. As the CEO of the Imperial Galaxy, it was important for Vader to have a set of professional headshots and contemporary portraits that truly captured his commanding presence. I've been waiting to share this blog post until May the 4th, the day that Star Wars is recognized around the world.

The challenge of photographing such an iconic character was to ensure that we captured his essence while also creating something fresh and contemporary. I was pleased to find that Vader was a true professional in front of the camera, displaying a focus and commanding presence that truly captured the spirit of the character.

During the shoot with Darth Vader, we had some downtime between shots and he offered to show me his lightsaber. As a fan of the Star Wars franchise, I was thrilled at the opportunity to see this iconic weapon up close.

Vader retrieved his lightsaber from a nearby case and activated it, filling the room with its distinctive hum. The sight of the glowing red blade was both awe-inspiring and a little intimidating.

After admiring the weapon for a few moments, Vader proceeded to give me a brief lesson on lightsaber combat, showcasing the precision and skill that went into wielding this weapon. It was a surreal moment, to say the least.
